The Wind Window (an introduction to kiteboarding and power kiting)
This video introduces you to kite sports by explaining the wind window in detail. It covers: parts of the window, clock numbers, the location of the power zones, the ground level window, wind effects on the window, plus a simple explanation of why the kite pulls harder when downwind of you.
The wind window helps you understand how a power kite works, and helps you predict how strong a kite movement will be. The better you understand the window, the more enriching your practical lessons will be.
