Patagonia Hood Jam - Day Four

Day four like day three provided ideal marginal but steady Hood River conditions for kites sized 12-15m. The day started with Mens Heat one, two and three hitting the Incline to the Left (in order to finish the preliminary rounds). The mens second chance round followed, on features - Duotone; to the right, Session Kicker; to the left, Slingshot Kicker; to the right, Incline; to the left, Cabrinha funbox; to the right.

The second chance draw proved entertaining with a very competitive level across the board. Placings switched and swapped between features as almost all riders had at least one throwaway hit counting. Consistency across features ultimately signed the deal for the three riders progressing to the Mens Patagonia Hood Jam Final 12. Those riders were; Artem Garachenko, Mark Caferro and Christophe Tack. Christophe stomping one of the nicest Pete Rose 540s we’ve seen.
