The North Clickerbar comes with the adjustable "V-Point Adjuster" which is attached to the middle line. When you unpack the new bar, there is a sticker which says open the lock - that's it. So my question is why they put such kind of a lock if you just need to open it? There must be a good reason to adjust something - right??!
Thanks for the reply

You can unscrew it to move the adjuster higher or lower depending on the kite you have. You can also completely remove it if you want to have an open V configuration.
LINE SETUP LINE LENGTH RECOMMENDED V-DISTRIBUTOR SETTING
QUAD CONTROL 22M RED V-POSITION
QUAD CONTROL 24M RED V-POSITION
5TH ELEMENT 22M BLUE V-POSITION
5TH ELEMENT 24M BLACK V-POSITION
ANY OTHER ANY OTHER OPEN-V: REMOVE V-DISTRIBUTOR

Could you explain pls what length (position) means for example RED V-Position? Is there a good description available? Furthermore what is the advantage between the open V-configuration and for example the RED-V-Position? I do have a 12m2 Rebel.

The middle lines have marked colored positions where you can tighten the v distributor. The difference is that some kites are designed for specific split height and fly best when the bar is adjusted to it. The kites will fly no matter where is the v distributor but kite response may be affected if you don't set it up to the height the kite was designed for.

If the Rebel is like the 2018 Evo, it's intended to be flown on the lowest setting (red) for the Y split.
(not open or low V) You can certainly try it open V, but North/Duo states the kites are designed around the high Y.
The two higher settings are for the added 5th line, if you use it.

The instructions that i posted in the second post are for all kites, so depending on your line length, and if you use a 4 or 5 line setup you can adjust it properly.
