You mean you now have to spend £1200 on two bars that include some kind of chicken loop on the end if you want to go down the click Bar route and fly with duotone Kites properly? Wow! Bargain.

Let me state a few simple FACTs.
Turn speed relates to the AMOUNT of a rear line pulled, the more a rear line is pulled the faster a kite turns.
A larger bar pulls more of a rear line.
Therefore a larger bar makes a kite turn faster.
Now there is some conditions I could throw in there, but I am trying to expand it and also keep it simple so your brain can digest it. Or maybe like Ken or Ralph I just need to write pages and pages littered with rubbish and you will swallow it whole? Somewhere someone is laughing about this, hopefully it's not Ken or Ralph, because that would be quite sick. I tend to think of them as a bit stupid rather than evil.

The article starts with 'slowness' measured in time, I would assume?
It then goes on to measurements and angles, then on to 'feel'.
At no point does it make reference to time (time taken to turn kite) slowness.
Does a narrow bar make your kite slower?
The biggest misconception is that a narrow bar automatically makes a kite turn slower.
Conclusion.
Smaller kites do require smaller bars.[/i]
I think the opening statement and conclusion are also a little at odds too.

Exactly. If Ralf has time to over elaborate on such a simply thing, what is he doing designing kites?
It's explained in a few words.
Bigger bars make kites turn faster.
Did he get into bar forces? and other things? No idea because I am not reading his whole thing cause it's as or more stupid than the last.

Sorry but your wrong. It doesn't matter what size bar you have the kite turn speed does not change. The amount of leverage is what changes. I can fly a small bar and grab the steering line and pull it so the kite turns super tight and faster than if I used the bar or any bar for that matter. But that doesn't speed up the kites turn speed. Aerodynamics is what determines how fast a kite turns not the steering wheel. I don't care what size bar you use on a high aspect kite it will not turn faster than a low aspect kite. Nothing to do with the bars everything to do with the kite.

You even argued against and disproved you own assertion while trying to prove it. Multi level stupid.
