Hi Kiteforum.
I was wondering about what bar size other people use and why?, on my local beach I see everything from large to really, really small bars, PROS - CONS maybe?
Personal I have 9-12-16m kites, and I always use my 55cm bar, getting a 8m and will still use my 55cm bar with that one.
I like the bigger bar as I can deside where to have my hands, but 90% of the time my hands are in the middle of the bar anyways.
Think I just have got used to a bigger bar.
What do you use and why?

I use a 55 cm bar with all my kites. I run 5, 6 , 7, 8 and 9 meter kites.
Why? It's the only bar I've got, and it suits me fine. Like you say; just keep your hands in the middle of the bar.

Down to a 5, sounds fun! You dont have problem making the kite insanely fast?

Sometimes, when I end up in 'the washing machine', yes. Usually with interesting consequences
. Very rarely though, you get used to it.
