Anyone know how much it costs, or is it a case of "if you have to ask you cannot afford it?"
Well most of these things run for about 5g a couple per week... for the most part they all include gear because it is easier for them... not much room on these boats so if everyone brought all their gear space gets tight. We tried to go on one last year but they could not match us with a booked crew.... its easier if you have 8 ppl, couples need to be flexible as the other cabins need to rent as well.
This boat looks exceptional, it is larger and newer but not all the amenities will be included. Some boats charge for air conditioning or wifi, some boats will supply the food but its a group effort to cook, some have a cook/chef (usually the captains wife/partner)... I would suspect this boat to be a bit more money but probably not a lot more
What I have been told by others is...
"Thing with boats is, they are not really conducive to kite boarding. The captain will always want to moor on the leeward side of the islands so you are either launching from the runabout or getting dropped on the island and having to walk to a suitable launch."
I am sure its an amazing adventure but maybe not for that guy that just wants to kite all the time. You will spend a lot of time going from spot to spot, heck we were faced with a 16 hour haul from where we flew in to get to the first kite spot... and it ain't no ride in the park for anyone who may have a bit of seasickness....
