One friend of mine , very skilled foiler, has now sold all his LEI to switch to its loved CA waves : he now has all of hem 6.5 +4.5 + 3. He said easier to launch and land than a LEI , incredible stability useful in waves and a bit less "explosive" (i do not likevthis on my 4m, too quick in turns) I was not keen to use foils above 15 knots. Now after having seen his 4.5m when i was with my rally 4m, i want one... not so expensive but compared to my second hand 4m rallye at 160 euros ... i need to judge how often i may use it ...
Are there any videos of launching, landing, re-launching the CA waves? Specifically relaunching and landing? The videos of riding with this kite look impressive.

Ozone Uno 2.5M: A little cheaper than the Switch Element 3M.
Not sure if Wainman Hawaii is still making the 2.5M Wainman Rabbit RSE (Rabbit School Edition).

Please don't judge all foil kites based on the A15.
I am considering an A15. What is it that you did not like about yours?
Its not a bad kite. Its also not a small kite so sorry to hijack the thread. The price is right, it flies in light wind, and it makes enough pull to get on hydrofoil. Construction is reasonably nice. I'm just more stoked with some other kites. A15 its farther from LEI than many other foil kites in terms of flying experience. Classic "depower" foil kite have a tendency to loose power when you pull the bar and gain power when the kite flies to the edge. Flysurfer and Ozone have been trying to make kites react more and more like LEI on bar inputs and have come a long way. A15 has a lot of that classic foil kite feeling where pulling the bar slows the kite rather than making lift. Sheet out to generate kite speed and the power is there. Bar forces are much lighter than I would like and thats a personal preference. Also you have to tune line lengths with long pig tails - not a big deal but a kite that flies right out of the bag is nice. So many people talk about bridle mods. I actually enjoy bridle mods and bought it thinking the challenge would be fun. I just don't have time and my current kites have me so happy I just want to work on hydrofoil riding. My statement is just that different foil kites are different just as there are different LEI. It would be unfair for a kiter to fly foils and one day to try a one strut LEI and complain LEI don't boost. It would also be unfair for a tube kiter to fly a Sonic Race and complain foil kites don't drift and are likely to bowtie.

Hey, I just started working at Peter Lynn, and we currently do make small LEI kites. We have the Swell for wave riding in 5m2, and also our new all-around kite Hook in 4m2. If you're interested PM me or contact Peter Lynn directly so we can arrange something :)
