Thanks that'll do, just what I need. We're not selling anything like the numbers when the GTS4 launched, the Nexus is killing it.

People who are likely to ride GTS5 expect someone else to pay for it so would say that wouldn't they? People who ride Nexus have jobs to support so don't get the time on the water and the Nexus is a very versatile kite if you want to ace freestyle tricks but don't have that TOW. Anyway Neuxs is outselling GTS5 in the real world (where people actually pay for their kites) five to one. Bully breaking that Cap Verde Woo record shows what it's capable of, even though an XR5 wil rip you off the water even higher, the Nexus gives the feel of a GTS4/5 without the ball breaking grunt.

i have 8-13,5-17 . kites are amazing !!! worth every penny ,
8 m is truly looping beast ,
13,5 m is super stable for unhook , turn fast and very responsive
17 m is light wind master , great unhook for learning

i ride XR5 9m for crazy boosting and and 11m when its super gusty ( XR5 wind range is very wide)

Nexus is somewhere between those two .
Depends what you like to do and whats your style .

GTS5 - looping!!! and unhooked
XR5 - boosting!!! and easy ride
Nexus - waves and free ride

That XR5 is a tool, what other kite breaks woo records as well as speed records, one of our guys did well in the worlds using one against big foil kites and broke the Weymouth Harbour speed record and is going for it again next month using thinner bridles.

Actually not, the folks I know to talk to pay for their own GT5's. Where I am I see lot's of XR's (I have 3) but almost no Nexus. Perhaps being inland where wave days are fewer accounts for some of this. When I next get to the ocean I'd love to be able to rent/demo of both kites (GT5 and Nexus) and make my own judgement.

I am actually on the fence between a Nexus and a GTS. I am wondering if someone has some experience with both and could highlight the major differences (mainly doing freestyle-freeride)

Also is the GTS appropriate for an early intermediate rider who is just starting to loop and jump? or will I progress faster (much faster?) on the Nexus which seem like a less advanced kite.
