Market Research - board widths and maximum g's?

Postby forty1kitesurfing » Thu Oct 04, 2018 5:07 pm

Hi,

A bit of market research, what is the width of your kiteboard, and what is your distance between your fin mounting points?

Image

Also, for those of you with Woo's, what is your highest g landing?

Asking for our Hydrofin™ project, https://www.forty1kitesurfing.co.uk/hydrofin-design/ :)

I use centre fins on my TT.
Width is 46cm.
Landings always as soft as possible.

Sorry only looked at your link now.
I suppose things such as bindings and beach starts fall outside your target demographic..

Yeah, I couldn't say it is intended for beach starts that way but it is a good point :) It should be strong enough for you to stand up on them, I just wouldn't necessarily recommend riding off the sand into the water.
