at 32-33", I had a medium and found it would ride up too much, especially when overpowered.
I took the advice that these tend to fit one size below normal, got a small and am happy with it.
So I'd suggest medium for you.

The harness got smaller fitting in 2018. They moved the point where the straps are sewn to it farther behind. And that tends to make spreader ride up MORE when harness is sized small. Longer straps between sewn point and spreader attachment, creates more swing up and down of spreader bar.

So I’m using largest mystic spreader.. I have spreader pulled up tight with very little strap left. No more ride up. Really happy with how that works.

I’m a 32-33” waist and RE medium is perfect, so another medium vote.
