Postby wakeboy » Tue Apr 01, 2003 11:35 pm

tried my g 13 today in winds that were gusting past 30 knots, or there abouts, it was the end of the limit of the kite, at one stage i got lifted out of the water by 2 metres and blew down wind along way... fun but too much wind for the kite ill have to buy th 10 now.....
btw.. i am 83 kg...

Anyone else have found the top/ bottom ends of the g arcs yet?

Did you use depower ? If depower is setted to lowpower mode, is there any power in your kite ?

Any kite still has power at it's lowest power setting.

I'm only about 60kg now, yet I've been out with my G-13 in gusts to 28mph (24 knots). I was nearly maxed out, but the wind wasn't very steady (making it harder to handle than a steady 28) & I also wasn't able to shorten my front leader as much as I'd have liked (shortening it even more should have made it easier to handle).

Sorry, I forgot to add my bottom end of about 9 knots, but keep in mind I'm only about 60kg. I built another interactive wind range estimater chart (enter your weight & see the wind range estimates as a beginner, intermediate, or advanced rider) & uploaded it to

Continuing old theme:

I have weight about 180-190 Lbs and I'd like to drive all winds 4 - 27 knots. Would G15 be right choise for that ? Or should I consider G13 instead ?

greets. Arc Lover and Dreamer who never has tried one...

4-17kts with one kite? Hmmm...you might be better with a G18 and G13 for those winds.
