I can't afford that board at the moment and have no idea how to build one myself, but I can draw!
I just traced it's picture and scaled it in autocad, I hope the outline is accurate enough.

Of course this doesn't give you any information on the concave or rocker, but I hope it's a good starting point.

The attached pdf is in 1:20 scale and has measures every 5 cm from the nose, plus measures of the important points

Nice man!!

May I suggest to place marks for fins somehow? Also, the horizontal and vertical scale with 1mm would be great to have so when printed it can be measured nicely.

Can anyone pull the rocker and concave info if possible?

Thanks a million.
Here it is!
If anyone builds it, it would be great to see some pictures!

As I have no idea about board building, I can't assure the angle of attack of the fins is ok. Remember I'm tracing a not so high-def picture, so a single pixel can mean a lot.

Oh boy, I feel so stupid :o

I didn't double check, so my drawing was out of scale as I was drawing in mm but printing in inches...
An updated pdf is coming very soon, and I'll ad a scale reference :)

Once again, can anybody advise on rocker and concave? Just finished routing my DIY 5'6" and need to know prior go farther. No need for scientifical measurement and a rough order of magnitude would be a good start. If there is anybody from the Ottawa/Gatineau region I swear it will be available for a spin once finished ;-) Thanks in advance.

Chop the nose off a surfboard. Make it more like a TT with volume and low and behold its more fun for strapless rotation tricks?

Funny that.....
Sorry. I find the surfboard revolution very amusing. I also see no need for an normal surfboard pointy nose. Its a waste of material and isn't required.
No need for a normal surfboard tip????

I gave these chopped off boards another go recently due to me riding a motorcycle to go kitesurfing. Really wanted to make one work for me and wave riding.... jut would have been easier for loading on the motorcycle. I did not like them. Both the outline of my surfboards and above all the nose rocker just makes them much nicer in the waves.

So I just figured out how to mount my proper surfboards to my bike..... even my 6'8" Don Johnson
mini gun.

There is just so much hype going around with these chopped off boards. First the Vanguard.... then a wave of similar boards from a bunch of copycat kite brands. All pretty much copies of the gorge animal form 10 years ago ... or more.

The best wave riders around here ride second hand or dumpster surfboards.
One guy does strapless back rolls with a kite loop strapless without a grab and lands them half the time. Rides dumpster boards (trashed boards that are patched up).

Hey man,

would we be able to get the dxf or dwg from you? I am about to trace one board as well and would place it in the same file and share it here:)

Cheers

D.
