but on a flyrace by flysurfer you would then sand the fin on the curved side, thanks!

Yes, if it is foiled only one side with the other side flat, sand the curved part.
It helps the water stick to the curve....

If you look at the fastest fish in the world, the sail fish, which is capable of more than 100km/h without cavitation, its scale is comprised of millions if not billions of prickly needles, which can not be duplicated until the next generation higher resolution 3D printer.

I would say every millimetre on a F1 car is aerodynamic. But with the necessary down force added. The whole car is built in the wind tunnel. If they just wanted it to go straight they would alter the down force and drag would drop to bugger all.

Not true at all. They are designed to have down force and to be aerodynamic. Reduced drag is a big competitive advantage - you use less fuel and go faster.

A bodyboard is not a very good test for this.
But apparently it did work but never 'stuck'.
But a few guys messed around with 'hot dots' on surfboards in the 80s and 90s.
