I'm struggling lol, vid will be good when you've finished. As a reference, if I suspend mine between to points approx. 2inches from the tips and then stand in the middle of the board between the inserts I get maybe 40-50mm of travel with a little light bouncing.

Nah mate, get the N. XRide 129cm board and stand on it, you'll see how flexy that board is. Comparing to this board, Xride is at leat 20% more flex.

To be fair, put your board in here and show us! One pic is 1000 words, so... You'll be surprised, when measured properly, how they flex. It doesn't matter how long the board is.

This is no competition, by all means, just interesting topics.

That's interesting. I don't get to see many production boards, i repaired an ss asylum recently which too me had 'nice flex' but obviously doesn't mean shit to anyone else. It's all relative, all boards are compromise, i was just intrigued as too how you achieved such low weight figures.

It has been a looong time after I finished this board.

Yesterday I tested it. The biggest smile on my face ever

The board is eating chop for breakfast, that's what I noticed first. It's fast, probably the fastest board I ever made, being 38cm wide only.

But most importantly it is the water line which makes it interesting.

When I ride it, the water exits on the perfect, undisturbed line. Hard to explain, tho. There is a moment in edging when the water exit hits the fin, and this produces drag. Or makes a noticeable splash, wave or whatever you call it, you get the picture I hope.

But that moment is way latter than on my other board(s), meaning I can edge more and make less wave behind.

Spray in a face is not noticeable. Duno is that because of the outline or rocker.

Landings are a bit on the not so soft side. I can probably make the tips thinner and more flexy on the next project.

What else? Having the board bottom sanded with 300 grits it's easy to handle the board in water.
