Can't remember if I read that somebody tried this around here, and then with my weak mind, thought I came up with this idea, but has anyone tried this approach?
Dip a thin piece of rope into some epoxy and run it around the edge of the board for a nice hard rail.
Suggestions?

Run a rope around the edge?
You'll have a hard time doing it...Not worth the time and effort. If you really, really like this idea I would suggest a thick line of FG (taken from a thick UNI FG, like 600-800g or more). But this is 3m line at least.
Btw, if I drop my board on a concrete from 20-30cm, the PU will survive. FG will break. PU will always win. So get yourself a mold, build a pre cured rails and don't look back:) When doing so, threw some fluorescent + phosphorescent pigment and enjoy the colors...

I was thinking of laying the board down on a flat surface, on a piece of that plastic that the resin doesn't stick to, and just shaping the epoxied rope around the edge of the board, then putting another piece of plastic over the top of it and hopefully, getting a rail out of it.
