Downunder,

I went to my local low-cost supply for some gloves, sandpaper and razor blades and saw they had inexpensive high volume low pressure spraygun and low cost 2 component PU clear coat. So I picked it up.

So how do you do it?
Do you just do fill coat and sand to what grit? Or do you do fill and refill?
How many pu spray coats? Do you do 2 with light sanding between?

I'll have to put up some sort of plastic tent around the board...

wet sand it with 400 wet and spray a light tack coat on it. wait 10 min and spray a good coat on it. wait 10min-15 so it can flash off and spray a final coat. Then you are off to the races again with wet sanding and buffing if you are not 100% happy with it . ( dust , runs ,etc)

Yes,

what Terrie says. Also, add a moisture trap before the gun and run a PU through the filter:

Use a brand new thinner if needed but I never used a 2 component PU tho. Allow a lot of time to cure, duno, 2 weeks? But that is my 2 weeks on 30-40C :)

Good luck.
