can get a finished product out of the bag, provided you have the right system.

Mostly finished
For my wave twin tip, we sandwiched the dry reinforcements and core between two mylar sheets, which had been sprayed with 2K UV resistant poly. Did the infusion, heat cured it for a day, and it came out of the bag with a UV stable mirror finish. Just trimmed and sanded the edges, and opened up the inserts.

Yeah man, seen that. A vac bagging and a vac infusion are two different Worlds. We can argue that infusion is not a vac bagging
Infusion as such will give you ultra thin epoxy layer, whatever the FG thickness is. This is definitely not enough as abrasion layer. Report back after some usage on a sand how will that withstand
Good on ya to apply a 2 pack varnish tho.
