Hi everyone,
Does anyone know where I could find some paulownia in the USA? I'd like to find something in the 60" x 18" size in a thickness that would work for a kiteboard. I would also be happy to get shorter lengths for making a split board. Perhaps 28-32 inches x 16-18 inches. I imagine total board thickness around 1/2" would be reasonable, but I'd appreciate suggestions from anyone who has worked with it.
Thanks for any help.
John

You'll never find that wide. You have to laminate. Also try bamboo. If anyone has great places to buy both of these woods I'd be interested to know.

5 min on google and found this for you
http://www.paulowniaseed.com/What-We-Offer/Lumber. But I'm sure a small order will probably be pretty pricey.
