A composite question - metal to composite

Excuse me for the non board question; but there is a lot of composite knowledge here.

What would be the best way to fasten a threaded insert of any type, shape, or design to the end of a carbon tube? For a 20mm diameter bolt or stud. Either mechanically or epoxy. Strength for it to never pull or break out.

Also; anyone seen a good source for carbon tube?

Around 50mm diameter and 120-150cm long and with a suitable wall thickness. I’m just starting my search.

A good toughened epoxy will be fine, provided you have enough surface area and you can prep the surfaces properly.
A bigger concern would be galvanic corrosion, unless you use titanium.

Totally depends on the load paths and the layup of the tube.

Go to extremekites.com.au and pm Gannet. He has done it successfully multiple times.
I know he uses a specific type of resin/glue design for this type of job.
