Looking to buy a new 3 kite quiver this year (7,9 and 12m) to replace my current kites. Searching for kites which would be suited to riding strapless on smallish waves, and for progressing at strapless air tricks. Also something that would still let me have fun now and again on my twin tip and board with boots.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Current kite quiver consists of Airush wave 7,9M and razor 7,9 and 13m,

I ride Element V3's. Ride waves occasionally, do unhooking and kiteloops/oldskool. A bit of everything really, including (still a n00b) strapless airstyle stuff.
I do think the Elements are well suited, but I would recommend using small bar setting and higher barpressure, because they are very responsive. The V4 should be even slightly more responsive.

Don't ride strapless freestyle myself, but do ride waves strapless and freestyle TT. North Dice 2015 is def a kite you want to consider. Drifts like crazy in the waves, but at the same time great freestyle kite as well. Not sure what Airton rides, but wouldn't be surprised if he rides a Dice whenever he's not barreling massive waves.

I usually ride strapless in waves but also like a kite loop and S-Bend now and then in flat water. After riding many brands I have found that the Core GTS3 is really a great kite for both. I switched to the 8/10/12 this year. My only beef is that they do not have a ton of low end. I for years had the 12/9/7 quiver but found the gap to be a bit big in-between the 12 and 9 so switched this year. I am much happier. One thing that is great about the GTS is that when you try an air and plop into the water the kite does not Hindenburg like many kites out there. The kite is designed to handle the line slack and drift. Its nice to try tricks freely and not need to worry about it landing in the drink all the time.

I highly recommend getting a Best Cabo, huge depower, its like an on off switch - which is what you need for strapless airs, you power up, jump then depower to come down again without loosing the board and power up a little for a soft landing.
goes upwind like a beast, drifts well and is super tough/sturdy, one pump and twist lock valve and awesome looks what more can you ask for in a kite.
I did a ton of research and got a quiver of 7m 9m and 11m, couldnt be happier with my decision.
whatever you decide to get, enjoy : )

you know what that is a hard one - something like the torch you can do anything on, but the thing is with massive depower you can land some strapless freestyle tricks WAY easier - you see riders coming down from spins and their arm is as far out as it will go with a super high depowere kite.. board doesnt fall off feet so much that way...
i wont go to a wave kite tho - a torch rides waves just awesome - is epic for boosting and unhooking - just some of those damn strapless freestyle tricks - especially hard when more gusty without massive depower....
i rode that best cabo - it is like an on off switch - i actually got bored riding it, it was so easy to ride!
I don't like specialist kites, i like doing a bit of everything... wave kites are utter sh##t for a lot of other stuff... but yess the depower issue for some strapless freestyle tricks! arrgghh
