there is not much of a difference to the 2016, it's not that silicon paint on the inside anymore, all the rest seems to be the same.
Just the OPTION spreader bar is new, but as the name says , it's a option, the harnes comes like last years with either Maniac or Hammerhead spreader bar.

So is that a factory fitted slider rope on the 2017 model? Looks like it.
Back to the 2016 though, I have been wondering at the setup Ian Alldredge is rocking in one of his latest vids. Looks like a custom slider rope and he has removed his CL completely.

Hello Berdy02,
I have modelled my own custom C1 off yours. I was hoping you could clarify the knot you have used on the right. It doesn't look like a bowline as it seems very clean and tidy. I wanted to replicate yours somehow. As you can see from my C1, I used a brummel splice on the left and a double davey knot on the right.
Cheers.

I found even with the double rings the wear on the rope was unacceptable.
A pulley runs so much smoother & your rope will last much longer. I have not tried the Antal yet but heard good things about them.
Anyone gone from a Renegade to C1 & can compare in surf conditions ?
