Carafino Hydrofoil boards thanks Chip Wasson for placing 1st in the Master Division and out performing everyone in his division and taking 9th place overall on the 2008 M9X hydrofoil board.
Every race Chip was first to the windward mark proving the hydrofoil board to be the world most advance up wind kiteboard. Chip's biggest challenge came from outstanding "catch up" performances on the down wind legs. The most aggressive competitors closed in on the foilboard in the down wind legs as the traditional kiteboard was able to "load up" more on the rail whereas the foil glided downwind without a care.
Chip Wasson stands alone in the history of kiteboarding amongst the world's kiteboarding fleet and displaying the future of kiting. We thank Chip and all those who made the U.S. National Kite Racing Champioinships a memorable event.
