KPWT Canada 2009 - Final Press Release

The last day of the Acadie Kiteboard Pro 2009 and the wind never reached the required level to run a few more course races.
It has been a successful week in Canada with all the competitions disciplines being run under good conditions.
The disciplines were run in many locations, with a bus transporting the riders in and around the area.

- Course Racing: Chiasson Office- Seaside
- Freestyle: Chiasson Office- Lagoon side
- Wave Masters: Miscou
- Kiteloop: In front of the Windsurf & Kitesurf Club of Eric Girard
- Sliders: Chiasson office- lagoon side

A celebratory dinner was held to close this successful event!
It was held at the Aquarium Restaurant and all the riders, minister, mayor and sponsors all attended. After dinner the prize ceremony was held and the local organization hosted it in the Aquarium of Shippagan.
Roch Chiasson said some words and the prizes were handed it within each discipline.
2 short movies were then shown, one from the KPWT and the other, the video that had been made to broadcast the event. It was a great ending to a special event here in Shippagan.
Thank you to the local organization, the riders and all the media involved in broadcasting another leg of the 2009 KPWT.
