3,6kg a 17m2 kite!
not bad, half a kilo liter than 17th edge.
looking forward to try the jet.
previous year kites were a real blunder because of their poorly designed bridles and bigger size kites high weight, too heavy and too slow to turn. i had to make over the bridles on both jekyll and hatch.

first goal for the jet was to get it light! then they did a lot of work on the bridles!
tried some prototypes and they were turning really nice - looking foreward to get my racegear soon!

Jet is a dedicated race kite. The bigger jekylls were..well. just big jekylls... The Jet has a even more effective Proj.Area.

Jet has been stripped of onepump and alot of dacron to save weight, even the backlines on the bar are less thick to minimise drag.

Thekiteboardermag tested it as "Pros:
Amazing upwind performance, even in very light wind.
Very stable, even in big lulls.
Very good low end power.

Cons:
The Jet demands more attention from the rider to get the best performance.
Some riders may be turned off by the lack of a single point inflation system. "

The latter is a kind of non-issue, considering only diehard low-wind fans and racers will use this kite.
Also, the attention needed is because it is such a high AR kite, which you WANT in racing.
