Hi there,
I just rode a race board for the first time of my life, and I'm thinking about buying one, and very soon...
I'm not worried about racing rules, just go upwind as much as I can - if it is possible, to ride along some windsurf formulas. Here where I live the wind is really gusty and have many shadows of hills, so keep going on no-wind areas is a must. Choppy conditions also.
Do you think the 3-fin scheme is as good as the 4-fin scheme for going upwind?
Thanks,
BRUNO

Forget 4fins, they are a pain in the a.. to go downwind. Buy a new or 2012 3 fin board , get a good set of fins, and then it's up to you to train.
My north ltd race 2012 is for sale.
