F-one trax modded grab handle

Postby richieski » Wed Jul 03, 2013 8:20 am

Thought i would share this, going out today to put it to the test.

It's the original fone handle, i have a blow torch and melted the screw hole tabs so they are straight with the diagonal ends. I have some aluminium strip about 3mm thick, bent it round the existing handle then used self amalgamation tape to wrap around to hold both together. The tape is waterproof and super stretchy. The handle is very strong too.

looks sweet!

But I assume if you use it the way I use it it could break faster than mine.
Mine have thicker aluminum, and still break! Not that often though.

And I wouldn't call it t-handle. It is just a handle.

T-Handle are the tricks called, where my foot is in the handle...

The T came from the original t-handle trick, where I had the foot in the handle and stretched the leg and arms away...this looked like a T. Therefore the T...
Then I adopted the name t-handle for all tricks with the foot in the handle so it is clear in the name.

Your right Toby, not a t-handle. Just a handle lol.

Seemed to work very well today, i guess when i progress further then i might start breaking them. Feels super solid taped to the old handle though, it doesn't twist or anything. Tried to get thicker ally but that was all the shop sold. I think 5 mm would be good.
What move do you do that tends to break it?
