If it flies well, why not.
Hope they used the dyno 2011 genes.
And hopefully the microloop comes back!

I'm interested in the removal of the cam battens. Wonder if that's just the leading edge battens or the canopy ones as well on the trailing edge.

A good friend of mine just emailed me this view point and as I agree with it thought this is good a place as any to post it for a giggle.
I think the main thing that bugs me about the whole 'less struts' thing is that it is so obviously a fucking cash saver! Some bean counter has presented the figures of less struts, bladders, valves, fittings, material, labour…. I hate that mentality!
News fucking flash - a longer aircraft wing has more & stronger internal bracing! It's simple physics you cheap (or is it dumb) arsed bastards…
The Primary School project results are in: - the whole school agrees that a bigger wing should have more bracing than a smaller wing. - Naish called to say they disagree lol
WTF is wrong with this simple model: 7 struts on an 18m, 5 on 12m and 3 on 7m?? It's not as if you buy a big kite to loop it…
Must… hold…… it…… together…. don't….. cry……
lol

Other way around, no? More struts on smaller kites in higher wind?

Nah less canopy less to support. Smaller wing less bracing needed as per analogy.
I suppose it all depends on what loads you are gonna put on those lines and canopy.
And the wind speed where a large kite becomes a kick ass Airstyle kite you want all the support you can get ... In my humble opinion of course based on riding the kites I have and finding out what I have. But it's only an opinion of course.
And physics ....

Ha ha he just sent me another to add the the theory which could very well be a natural law ..
Watching the news. Toyota have just announced a Land Cruiser with no chassis rails. Pretty responsive apparently ... And cheap to build
