Hi Guys,
was out today first time on my Dyno 18 with 32m lines... It was bad conditions (very choppy, gusty on the lower level of the range, around 12-13 knots or so measured on the beach)...
I had plenty power to cruise along, BUT I felt I forgot how to jump. I seriously could not do one simple jump! I could not get height, I could not redirect the kite, I felt like a beginner.
I felt that when I redirected the kite, the kite would fly "in front of me", not "above me"... this resulted in some very low, fast downwind jumps, probably not even 1-2 meters high... with the Dyno being upwind of me almost dropping...
Is it me that needs to get used to it, or is the Dyno not advisable with 32m lines?

see what happens if you have a bit more wind...and then get used it it. Feels heavier for sure, and needs a bit of adjustment for the timing.

thanks!
any advice on the issue that the kite is too far forward in front of me when I redirect from 9 to 12.... and therefore I fly "high speed" straight downwind instead of up in the air?
Just wondering if there is something wrong with my technique...

Sounds like you are working the bar in wrong order. Steer to 12 with bar open and then close. By the sound of it because of light wind you steer the kite with bar pulled and then you release.
