18m Rebel - Airstyle Edition for sale

Postby Black Jack » Tue Feb 03, 2015 4:45 am

North Rebel 18m Kite - Airstyle Edition. AUD $1650

Kite only used twice, perfect condition.
Includes 2012 Bar & 24m Lines with micro loop fitted.

I'm selling this kite because it's not for me. After trying it twice is realised it was too big for me to handle. This is a BIG kite.

I found the kite good for the purpose it was built for, big boosting jumps (the highest I've ever done) with long hang time.
It turns slow and is very stable in the air. If you're into the AirStyle stuff, this is the kite to get.
If your after a fun light wind kite, this is not it! The low end, although grunty, is not as good as a Zephyr or similar LW specific kite.

I will post some photos in the next few days.

Contact me with any questions or to discuss kite.

Propositions made by guys who don't know what it's like to be 75kg or less. It's too powerful. No matter how good your edging technique / kite control is. Mine is better than most (think I'm egotistic but I'm not, learnt a few things or two over 15 years), but when push came to shove, at that pivot point of load, I just need more damn weight on that back leg. if ya under 80 kg don't even look at this kite.

I have feedback from guys with under 80 kg. They enjoyed it and could handle it.
It is also about technique and a small board.

Try if you can and see if it works for you.

Well sure, if that's the proposition I would recommend you smaller fellas be on nothing bigger than a 122 by 36/38 and have perfectly flat water. If you saw me kite you wouldn't question my technique.
