Armin if you offer a microloop/hook I am quite sure you will sell quite a number of bars - at the moment everyone is stuck with North 2009-2012 Bars or old Core Bars.

I know that Microloops/hooks are only needed by a few percent of riders and were taken off bars as developers thought that stopper balls are good enough.

Only now with the boost of Airstyle it has become a need for many again!

We know that. But as our demands are high to make it save, it is not that easy. But we discuss it.

The Boost and Sonic can be bought kite only, it is possible to use also the old north bar as long all lines have same length and the safety works with a frontline.

Thank you, Armin

Hey Armin

It would be really great if you guys from flysurfer would fix us airstylers a nice bar with micro hook and micro loop.

My suggestion is to make the hook slightly bigger and the loop slightly thicker so its a little bit easier to hook in.

But anyway you talk about safety, at this moment people a re flying quad northbars on flysurfer boost kites ( me for instance)

Is that safe?

If you guys offer people a better alternative it would be the better way.
And it would be a reason for people to cross over to flysurfer kites instead of riding a fifth line bar on a rebel 18m

Oh yeah and I would like to add something to that

People are crazy anyway

Either they ride C-kites on suicide mode or with a micro loop and the stopper ball is'nt all that safe either.

so f*** that shit and give the folks what they want. please?

The Racebar don´t have that as it is for racing not good.
We have the wish of a micro hook noted.

Thank you, Armin
Armin, I am sure offering a microloop will help the sales of Boost.
Plus many bars!

I bought many older North bars so I am fine...but many are in the need for it.

A stopper is ok, but nothing beats the ML. With stopper only I would have about 300 or more tricks less. It does make a difference!

The ML should be like The North one, since it works excellent.
If the loop is different it could twist etc.

If you plan something, make sure to let me test it before your put it into production.
I assume no one uses it more than me ;-)

Thanks!

Yes, Toby. For sure it would be a pleasure to let you test it and we listen to you feedback as the Master of Oldschool.

Armin the old north 4 line bars have a high Y, so not applicable to your kites I would say...unless you guys use a very high Y as well. I to have a lot of older north bars and there does seem to be some market for another option.

With a high Y you will lose a lot of projected Area of the kite. So take 2 new frontlines.
Safety need to pull one frontline to flag it out.

Cheers, Armin

I have two airstyle bars and a race bar. Broke my first set of airstyle lines after 8 weeks and attempted to swap out to a third party line... That's when I found out the flag line hole in the chicken loop is very narrow and will not support a larger (stronger) line. In the end I abandoned the FlySurfer bars and now use Ozone Race bars exclusively with q-powerlines.
