I know what the loop is for
But how many % of my weight overtake the backlines full powered :?:
I don't believe that it's so much because otherwise not everyone can carry his own weight!?! :nono:

I made the main hole of this bar bigger and it's scratching my depower line so I'll put back my original bar on tomorrow. To block the bar finally I prefer the first system that I've put on the infinity bar. A handle that I fixed on the stopper ball.
I also ride FS and tries to find out how to make an microloop on the bar.
Could you please describe and maybe take a picture on your modified stopper ball?

Hello after trying to adapt and old north bar (very old , so a real nightmare )I finally adopted a simple system wich is working pretty well I can block the bar, spin during my jump. Well it's safe easy to use. I made a handle that I bound around the stopper ball with some thin kite line.is just have to grab the handle when I plan to block the bar at the moment of my jump then I just have to push the bar back to release the stopper ball. You can check my video on the airstyle forum "some easy airstyle with the sonic 15" you'll see how it's easy to block the bar when I want to free my hands for some throws or board pass. :thumb:

very cool idea Stan! Loving it!

Could you do a short video clip which shows it in detail, explain how you did it, and show it in action when pulling down and up again?
We could spread the video and a topic nicely over the web for the Airstyle lovers and via Flysurfer!

PS: is the stopper stopping the bar 100% or does it move up a bit?

Yes I will do a video with pleasure next week when I will be in brasil as I already pack my stuff in the board bag. The stopper ball works perfectly and stay 100% at the same position i have to push strong the bar to release the stopper ball .the good point is that nothing get stuck together so you can spin in the air with free hand and push the bar when you're landing the jump, no risk at all.
The other good point is that you can stop pulling where ever you want on the depower line with the bar it will stay blocked at the point you let the bar.
Another pic.

Why not weld a hook onto the metal bit of the flysurfer infinity loop? I can already think of something that may work pretty good. A small extension on the thinner part of the oval bit at the top. With it only angled down slightly and not a full hook, so easy to hook in and out of and the bar can still hit bottom and the release still works. The only other issue is the spinning of the metal part and lining it up with the microloop. Hopefully with the hook on one side it should align . You could put a hook on both sides but I guess if that is needed it won't be easy to use, 4 sides is also a possibility but would look stupid. If the spinning works well the single hook and loop should line up when the bar bottoms.

It's a pity there is not many options for real airstyle bars?

The weight on the rears is 10-20% of body weight. Not much.
