Probably sounds a weird solution, but if you put 3M extensions on your kitelines then it will help a lot landing these higher jumps. That will help in both case: landing with or without a downloop. 3M extension will give you a longer way of travel of the kite considering the same angles so you will have a higher chance landing the jump without a loop.
If you need to do the loop, the 3M extension will also help as considering the kite has the same turning radious the kite will stay higher and will not come so low to the powerzone so you will have a more gentle loop. 3 M extension usually dont kill the feel and turning of the kite too much but will give you more ease, landing these high jumps. 3M extension is the right way to go if you riding on 20, 21 or 22M lines.
