NE Kite shops

Postby CoryC » Mon Jun 01, 2015 12:22 pm

Hi,
just got into kiting this year and love it. I live in New York/ Connecticut area and was wondering if theres any local shops around to get gear from. Thanks for any suggestions.

i learned at ny kite center. its a little more on the expensive side but probably the best spot you can learn at safely.and close to connecticut. its all shallow flat water and they have jetski support to bring you back up wind after you go really far down wind giving you more runs then you would walking back giving you more riding time to learn faster. you also use their kites in the beginning when your usually crashing them the most. they take you out on a boat from the shop where you can buy any gear you need. ive also heard good things about green hat in central jersey where they also take you out to similar water conditions.
