hello guys,
I am happy to announce that I just released my new foils series.
For those who do not know me yet, I am the makaira kitefoil designer and manufacturer. the makaira is sold worldwide by zeeko kites brand.
Today, I have my own brand
http://www.thekitefoil.com and I am proposing 2 hydrofoils models.
the Arrow is a high performance race foil while the Manta is a well priced easy foil for freeride and beginners.
the Arrow comes with a dedicated foil board while the Manta has the option to use the same board as the arrow or 2 other boards from Zeeko (pocket and convertible surf).

Great news!
Nice to see that companies have been listening and thery are beginning to offer affordable foils for people entering the foiling scene.
The Arrow looks sick!
I would really like to know some details about Manta: what is made from alu and what from fiberglass? What are the dimensions of the strut (hight, thickness,...) and also dimensions of other components?
Thank you,
Jaros

Apologize if our website is not yet loaded with all data on Manta but let me give you more info:
mast is 14mm thick and 85cm long. mast and fuselage are made of T6 series anodized aluminum.
wings are fiberglass. front wing is 54cm span, while stabilizer is 40cm span.

short fuselage will be more reactive in altitude (pitch) and turn much faster, long fuselage also turns fast but need more efforts, it is however very stable in all axis.
wing will be compatible with all foils but would have different finish / materials (yet to be finalized).
manta wing can go on arrow

Renaud - I keep fingers crossed for your foils and boards.
You must succeed - with your experience, knowledge and present prices. Well done.
I am eager to read test reviews of Arrow in comparison to top race machines.
I am considering to visit Dubai in March or May
What is a weight of Arrow, Manta and the board please?
What about guarantee?
How a tuttle box is hold solid in the long slot? I see two screws to fit a foil from a top of the deck but how the foil is protected against pitching inside the slot?

hello,
arrow is 3.1kg and manta is 3kg. board weight is not yet known. our prototype which wasn't molded but shaped was about 5kg. final board should be in the range of 4-5kg. will confirm that once our first production models comes by nid jan 2015.
guarantee covers normal wear and tear. touching sand for example is not covered
the long slot is designed for TKF box but tuttle can fit with a 3d printed adaptor. the mast holds with the 2 screws. from our test this is enough as the distance between screws and the box are wide enough
