You've moved really fast. I'm beginner foiler and started on high volume board 3 strap board , but then tried lower volume board with 2 straps in center and found it much easier to learn. Low volume was important to allow board to sink somewhat went water starting.
At same time there's many on the forum that say otherwise.
I think your wood matrix is way overkill. High density foam at plate area Luis some extra lamination will most likely be sufficient.
Your board may well end up 4 kgs. But ts going t bee bomb proof

I'd agree with that. Volume is a real hassle in choppy water. First time I tried three-straps, I found the balance difficult . . . but the straps were small and pushed my feet to the heel side edge so that didn't help. A very wide and loose single strap at the front is a very easy and safe way to learn IMO.

I see no question about board top profile but I've found I can't notice any difference between convex, flat or concave I even rode one with that hump in the center, that I hate on surfboards but got used to it just fine on the foil. . . .

The vertical is close to done.

I want to bolt the fuse on and need a blind nut solution. I don't want metal. Anyone know of a strong composite nut that could be shaped to fit in the 2 voids.

Bike inner tubes used to inflate woven carbon tube during bonding. Hope this eliminates any chance of separation of the two halves.
