Greeting,

I never added any strap to my board
I can ride it without pain in any direction when I go with not much kite-power.
But when powered up (and go faster) it starts to be a pain sometimes.

I also hear that from other people on foils like the Mozes and other brands.

I would like to know what I am doing wrong.
I ride my Sword 2 strapless and perfectly balanced on both feet. Since you are also strapless one would think that all you should do when the speed increases and the front pressure increases with it , is to move both feet forward in order to regain that balance but on my Sword it is actually the opposite. As the speed increases I tent to move my feet 2 or 3 cm further back in order to keep a perfect balance.

I therefore think you should try shimming your rear wing very slightly in such a way that it reduces its elevating effect. if that does not work (it should) you can also try a smaller back wing.

erm, i think its the opposite, he needs a bigger rear wing , or needs to increase the angle of the rear stab to reduce back foot pressure

This foil already has a fairly large stabilizer/rear wing:

Thanks for the advise, but it is contradicting :-?

I try to shift my feet when the pressure becomes too much.
And I think it is just me not standing correctly. But I have tried several things, without the correct result.

And also I do not have it each session.

When I discuss it with other (brand) foilers, they recognize this problem.
Especially those who race. And maybe there lies the answer. With freeriding you do not want too much pressure.
For going fast you want pressure.

I had that Zeeko and could ride it for hours without it causing me any issue on my legs.

Not sure your stance is correct if you're struggling on it. one of the easiest foils to ride for miles due to how stable it is and the fact you don't have to go like a bat out of hell to foil on it.

I have a spotz 2 now and it is faster on all points BUT it is harder on the legs.

I have done a few 50km runs but that's up and downwind.

Myself and a mate are looking at doing a charity run later this year from where we live to Brighton on the south coast which is about 50 nautical miles on a boat, on a foil it will be considerably more.

Thanks for the reply :thumb:
It is always good to get confirmation that it must be user error 8)

Here is my most recent session, going a bit downwind here, but nicely powered up.
I could ride the board a bit tilted to my back, like you would do on a TT to create sufficient counterforce.
It is a wide angle shot made with a line mount, so it might be a bit wrong.

During this flat water session I had no problems at all.

Looking on your latest picture - I will try to move your position about 10cm (TEN - no mistake!) backwards.
For me, you seem to be a way too much forward.
Then you need to press a lot with your back foot to countercount the foil lift.
Your stance looks like 60cm. I would increase it to 65 ish.
Let me know if it would help.

I had that Zeeko before Mig27 and could ride easily for hours but once you start to do long-distance high-speed downwind runs (2km+) you just blow your bck leg eventually no matter what foot position. Tried every possible angle on the stabilizer but nothing helped on this long-distance issue, a friend on a Moses had the exact same experience.

Now we both switched to Levitaz Aspect 3.0 and we run out of water in a 5x8km bay before our legs burn out. Awaiting some nice steady spring and summer breezes to cruize around the bay again!

To me his stance does not look too bad at all on that picture.

Thanks all!

I will try a few things, once the weather changes over here.
Freaking cold suddenly this whole week, a lot of rain and strong, gusty winds :-?
