... facilitated if you have a hollow strut/mast such as the alu ones .... TKF, Liquid F, Zeeko, .... and even better if you have a hollow fuselage as well (Liquid Force ?)

That looks like a huge amount of fun, but my skeptical brain immediately said, "f*** that noise, we don't need a bunch of super-powered foilers cruising surfing lineups causing problems and snaking waves from paddle surfers!!!"

Can you imagine the carnage if one of those showed up at a crowded break?!

Your not gonna see many foilers in breaking waves. Even with a kite, I'm happily out the back away from anyone. Your ability to cover distance alone changes everything and your off looking for places the people aren't

I shared the thread with an individual who is a specialist in ROV thrusters - The feedback I received was the shroud used in thrusters is really only effective up to 10kts before shroud drag will have a negative effect on performance. A trolling motor with a prop guard would be an effective solution for higher speed operation.

Would mounting the motor directly on the strut make too much turbulences for the back wing? It would be easyer to make and would put less stress on the (weaker) fuselage.

And go for RC airplane/car/boat Lipo batteries. Much smaller, lighter, have more ampere/hours. But above all it can release all those amps at a high rate.

I am almost certain that the 2kW motor you are using does not get the sufficient amount of amps it needs to provide 2000 watts of power from lead batteries.

And a duct, being in the first place a safe option, does not work under water in high speed set-ups. It does work on tug boats, but the do not go fast.

Indeed a bigger wing and SUP will be a better option.

I wished I was but I'm not the designer. Just providing the link.
To help him out, I'm going to create a dedicated post....
- interesting propellers to download for free that would fulfill this need,
- tutorial to build such a fast propeller
- your thoughts and sources of inspiration...

Jaros, as per your question, I'm no Hydrodynamics expert.
However, I see a propeller as a magic finger pushing inline with the fuselage towards the strut/mast.
Therefore, I'm pretty sure there isn't mush sideway /radial stress on the fuselage.
IMHO, the more aft the propeller turbulence with respect to the satb, the better for yaw/roll stability.
