Review: F-One 800cm foil and Mitu Convertible

Postby artemis_clyde_frog » Fri Aug 26, 2016 2:55 am

Here's a quick writeup on learning to foil with this setup. I'm completely hooked on foiling now, and very stoked with this setup too. Let me know if anyone has any questions on this, or is in the gorge and wants to try it out anytime.

WOW 800cm... how do you bodydrag with the thing?

800 centimeters = 26.2467192 feet (26 feet 261⁄64 inches)
Its nearly 8 meters for God sake...

Ha haa, I was thinking the same when I saw the headline - would it be a new record over the 11feet/335cm hydrofoil ?

http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/new ... air-431719

But for some reason some American English measure area in meter or centimeter in daily talk/writing very often for a shortcut... Like a 6m kite f.ex.

I think its odd too, and a bit funny, as you have to think twice what is meant sometimes, if it is not self explaining

So the F-One 800cm2 wing is faster than the similar sized LF, which means it is thinner I assume, and apparently more high aspect, great and awesome for practising things, and marginal winds (or heavy riders) :thumb:
