Next generation of BRM Cloud coming?

For sure, not quite mainstream, just that direction in overall appearance. A little less distinct in shape from the Storm Voyager and Gong strutless with this step. Performance on the other hand is a whole different deal, and we will have to wait to hear a bit more about that. Just noting the obvious first impressions.

The bridle is, well, about as simple as it can get. Short too. Doubt that could ever reach the wingtip.

Great to see. Greg has proven his worth to many and is catering to what I think will eventually be the biggest portion of the foiling market.

Do you want them lighter or heavier (stronger) Abel, since you ask ?

I think they are by far the lightest no strut kites.

Have found that lighter kites are better in many ways

BUT, kites lighter than our "normal" old kites, but not as light as the Clouds, can still hang well in lighter wind than you can hydrofoil - I have been so amazed by this.

Meaning, you could also search for a compromise where durability wont be compromised, especially if you use the kite(s) for other boards in more wind of course.
So if they were a tad heavier, I would still think they are awesome

Purely for hydrofoil, lighter is better though.

As an owner of the C.5 batch, I think the newly rounded ends will solve the ONLY negative of Clouds - water relaunch when canopy is under water. Ends will sick out, causing wind to be able to get underneath. If that's true, epic will become godly.

Yes they do. I'd reword Pikosvg's comment to say "...the ends stick will stick up also with less leading edge surface in contact with water (hopefully)." As someone who still has a lot of foiling learning curve to climb, I drop my kite every so often. I hope this rounded corner, and seemingly more curve to the leading edge arc (but I don't know that for sure at all), will make it a bit easier for the kit rotate while on the water for relaunch. For those who have reached the top of the mountain, I'm sure they could care less about that aspect of the Clouds.

For the 3.5, 5.5 and 8.5 .... i have no issues at all with water on the canopy and relaunch. The tension in the canopy from the leading edge and wings is great. And it takes a little practice to get the feel for relaunching deep in the wind window, but it's really quick and easy on the small kites.

But for all my Clouds 12m and up, water on the canopy is a pain in the butt. But dumping the water off the canopy and teasing wind back into the canopy just takes practice. You practice dumping water off the canopy by letting kite be dragged downwind before you try to completely fill the canopy.
