... the strut further back on fuselage, will make whole set up more pitch sensitive....
Everything else being equal, it is just the opposite. Issue in the past was to keep the fuse from flexing. New gen race foils are stiffer. What suffers is ability to make tight turns and certain playfulness.
Thanks, I stand corrected.

Was about to buy a different foil, but after trying Mossy's I had to get a delta! Been out a few times now and couldnt be happier.
It actually took some getting used to how stable it is compared to my spotz2. I kept over-correcting at first.
The incredible stability and glide makes foiling tacks and jibes way easier. I've been trying jibes on the spotz2 for 2 years with very little succes. Third time out on the delta decided to try jibing and did 5 in a row almost right away! I had never even done 2 in a row in two years of trying on the spotz. Also went from about 30% of tacks fully foiling to 70%

Sounds great!
What were you going to buy, and how did it compare to the Delta?

I was thinking spotz4 or levitaz because they are actually available and would have fit my old board with tuttle box.
Banga/enata and mikes lab dont seem to be available, but I didn't really try to hard on either. The new delta needs a tuttle box also, but it's under the rear footstrap.
I didn't have a chance to demo any, but from someone who tried spotz4 and delta, they said the Delta is the clear winner. Also have heard third-hand that the delta performance is comparable to Mikes Lab, but who knows.

davesails7, Did you get the Delta board as well? Did you get the latest version of the foil?
Either way, please post pics!

I'm not sure if this is the same as Dave's, but I know Aaron at Elite has (had?) one for sale with pics on his site:

I know ZERO about tacking and jibing now, but the guy that took my DELTA foil out for a ride said he nailed his first tacks and jibes effortlessly. I feel like I stole this used Delta foil, it hauls ass.

Why is there a Neil Pryde logo on a Delta Hydrofoil?

Interesting thread. Having looked at both FB page & the Delta website, they seem very out of date. FB last posted in Nov 16 & website not changed in ages since I last viewed video on preparing foil surfaces. Website seems to show old design foil with integral fin/elevated raw wing and there's no range of products & hard to see what you might be getting. Am I missing something & looking in wrong place?!
Confused by placing the tuttle under the rear strap, this must make it a real pain to assemble/dissemble every time you want to kite. I've currently got a Temavento board with tuttle box, in which I put a Spotz 2, looking at options to replace foil, not board & like the sound of the Delta foils.
