Rode for 3 hours on the Black wing today and then switched to the Carver wing for another 2 hours. The wind was pretty consistent throughout the session.
No issues riding the Black wing now and did some of my best carves to date.
The Carver wing planes much earlier, points further upwind, and seemed to require less front foot pressure and skill to ride than the Black wing. After riding the Black wing again I think they should have named the Carver the Floater instead. It creates a ton of lift and lets you ride real slow while still planing.
I felt like the Black wing carved better and had a better overall feel but was a bit more work to ride.
I would highly recommend the Carver wing for learning. I think it definitely improve my learning curve.
Interesting . . . because Nico says that the carver is not a good learner wing as too lifty and too powerful in turns.
I have been riding with the carver for a few weeks now and really like it. I have the White and Blue setup and it did take me a few goes to get used to the carver and love it now . . . definitely allows low speeds but maybe it is also me getting better.
Will have to put the blue wing back on and try it for comparison . . . but wind has gone for this next week it would seem.

Hi max,
Being a foiling beginner I could not figure out exactly why I liked the a Black wing better but that is the exact "problem" with the Carver wing.
It has too much lift in the turns making it harder to carve a nice turn for a beginner.
For a beginner it is perfect to learn to foil in a straight line and foil through your first transitions. I thought it was good for my first transitions since I could ride through the turn with very little speed.
Once one can foil through a turn on the Carver I would recommend giving the Black wing or similar wing a try.
Sounds crazy but after riding the Black wing I'm thinking about cutting down the Carver to a similar length as the Black wing.

So is it possible/recommended to put the carver wing on the green and white? I'm curious to try it in ultra light onshore days. Can I use the spitfire mast and just buy the green and white fuselage and wings?
I'm blown away by the low end lift of the Spitfire I tried it in about 8knots sideshore with Ozone Chrono v2 15M ultralight and because the spitfire accelerates so fast it was up and foiling very quickly and building apparent wind like crazy. I lost power in the turns and had to touch down in the jibes so wondering if the green/white carver would do better in the turns or if it's just my lack of skills or commitment (not being as aggressive with foil kite riding alone in the ocean)

Yes the Carver wing fits the Green&White foil.
No the Spitfire mast and mount plate is not interchangeable with the Green&White as it is set at a different angle.

The Spitfire mount plate is different.
There is a difference in angle between the Spitfire and Green&White foil.

Sorry, Was rather asking in what way the angle is different. Both Struts look vertical, and the fuse on the spitfire looks pretty horizontal.

No. The spitfire and "White and Green" have totally different parts.
The Fuselages are totally different and have different lengths, mounting angles and profiles. The plate is not only mounted at an angle to the mast, but the mast is also mounted farther forward on the plate.
