About the conventional wings, to be honest, IT IS VERY BORING to ride with it (for kitefoiling and also for windfoiling).

About shallow water, you will not start easier than a carver, the main way to start in shallow water is to have the right technique, and a big wing wing will be worse as usually the span of the big wings is higher than the carver one.
For that ride I should suggest to use a shorter mast, which will help you more.

Finally for big wings, we are still working on it as this is a big challenge to make them fun to ride. Stay tune, we will introduce them but the Delivery date is not sure yet.

At this time I definitely prefer to kitefoil a 70cm mast length with a spitifre foil equipped with XXLW wings, the take off is done at super low speed, and the carving and fun potential definitely way higher.

Thanks for addressing the question about big conventional wings.
Allow me to ask, if competitors’ big wings (Moses 633, ketos rumored wave xxl, etc.) are quick, fun and sporty in spite of being big and stable, why is your prototype conventional 1500cm^2 wing boring?
Have you tried the competors’ wings and found them also boring?
Could it be the inertia? It might be worth trying a lighter cored carbon version.

yes tried some competitors big wings (not all of the market) and found it also boring.
But I'm working on it, stay tuned!!!!

It sounds like the XXLW wings would allow progression from learning to foil to smaller more agile wings. Thoughts?

The XXLW wings aren't good for jumping though correct? I have a new spitfire with both the normal and XLW wings waiting for me once I get off my deployment. Hopeing the XLW wings are similar to SS hoverglide to get up on foil as quickly.

Really I think something like a circa 1200cm “Carver XL” would make me quite happy, and hopefully still go well over 20 knots. Even better if a bit lighter than the solid g10 wings...

Sheet of G 10, a few hours sanding, and a few drilled holes, you have your diy version, with naming rights for your new model.

I've made a couple sets....a stingy copy and a spitfire homage halfway between standard and xlw (I like to think I was the inspiration for xlw as I'd heard the speed issues and thought a bigger wing would be better

my plan is to make a sup foil set in canard format next. I was thinking 60 cm × 20 - 25 cm. ....roughly 1200 to 1300 cm2
