Got the mount off by using a large knife and putting shims under the mount to help it separate as I sawed it off.Looks like the adhesive didn't contact the entire surface.The slight v and slight concave kept the adhesive from fully adhering to the surface despite the amount of pressure I used when applying.I'll scrape the glue off and re-apply with some sort of adhesive and bolt it on.I'll be moving on to a real foilboard once I get more time on water and beat this one up!

just drill holes and bolt the foil on your board, I've done it to 4 different boards, works great. Washers on top, long bolts, nuts on bottom. Stainless steel.
