Only thing I would do immediately, is to cut/file/sand the sharp pointy nose, but should be really easy :naughty:

Nah...not a collector's item. Slingshot will dump them in a year like MHL/LP switching to someone who can offer better gear/price

Why is it such a dealbreaker?

Just use Tefgel on threads from fuse to mast,no problem. The Moses alum fuselage is very nicely machined and quality alloy pretty nice! I use mine only in seawater no problem, just recoat threads with TGel once in a while. Now a alum mast on the other hand requires more maintenance as it needs to be flushed out regularly of seawater with freshwater to keep in decent shape, this was annoying to me on one of my all alum mast/fuse foils,

Is fuselage pretty round shape so it would fit turning machine to cut off and smoother pointy nose and tail?

The problem with carbon is that you don't always know what carbon grade or quantity is being used. There is "carbon" and carbon. Same with bikes , you can get a carbon bike frame for 1000 or 5000 euros not the same, different grades or % of carbon used.

I even remember buying a "carbon" foil that only had carbon skin...

Peter, are you suggesting getting rid of the nose for safety reasons? My foil fuselage also has the pointy nose, but I've never had a problem with it.

Is it necessary for hydrodynamic reasons? I heard it helps, but I don't really believe it.

LOL... I'd gamble whoever ordered screen prints looked at it and corrected the extra "er" that must have been a mistake.

Luckily, a conversion kit is being made available - ;)

Nice to see the companies constantly progressing their foil designs, though. I suspect the writing on the mast will be quickly eclipsed by the smile on the rider's face.
