Anyone try the new 2017 Lift foils yet? They look soooo promising!

Yeah they look gorgeous. Too bad there wasn't a single frame of decent riding to inform consumers how they ride.
Foil price is pretty good. Board is sweet but 12 hundred is way too steep.
All pre preg and spiel sounds lovely and you would figure they know what their doing by now but they have a few things to over come in my memory to win my business with words and product shots. When referring to 100% carbon they specifically mention the wing/fuse unit and the plate only. Not the sturt.
Should publish weight stats at a min. Track width would be helpful for those not wanting to spend the full $2500.
I like the look of the wings and don't really mind the one piece wings and fuse. Likely bomber and keeps it real simple.
Would like to know for sure they ditched the foam core strut in favour of solid laminate.
Look forward to reviews.

I talked on the phone with Lift today. Super awesome and uber helpful dudes. Weight of the whole foil is 6.5 lbs. mast width is standard - like Slingshot, Moses, Foilsfish. Ultimately, got the 130 wing foil for waves and carving. Top speed of 130 - 22knots. Top speed of 110 - around 30 knots. Will post the review later.
What's even more interesting is they have an electric foil coming out - look at the first and last few seconds of the video.

Nice, hope it's great and look forward to hearing about it.
What do you weigh, and what foil are you coming from?
Did you ask if the strut is foam core?

I have the 130 wing and standard length shipped for this Tuesday. Will test out and post thoughts. I'm about 170lb. Coming from Moses 2017 foils (still like them, just too fast for wave riding), LP foils (hated it) and Hoverglide (my current favorite). Been trying to find something that's not very fast, but surfs really well in the waves. Spitfire was one option, but I really like the potential versatility of the 130 wing to still have freeride/boosting + carving ability of the new Lift foil. We'll see if it lives up to the promise.

Wow!
I don't need one right now, but I really want one!
Please be the probe and give detailed report about performance. I have Lift foil (2016) and it rides so sweet.

Looks good and I'm glad Nick and the boys decided to ditch the clear coat which shipped on the NF2 foils.

So if you damage your front wing you have to replace the whole thing

Must say I'm liking the one piece bottom section
Rear wing looks like it's on the huge side ...
