Yes. I have now ridden a foil. One i built myself. And its not easy. Something to work on. And my mind is still open to trying different things.

I dont think a TT foil would be easier to ride, but instead a bit or a lot more difficult, as it does not track and stabilise the same way, and not evenly balanced on feet unless you have the sliding fuselage (and making things even more complex is usually not a good road)
That's a good thing, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
So what you seek kiterocky, is to be able to turn direction like this, without having to get out of the straps:
Less speed, less stability, less upwind, less downwind, less flow, less jibe/tack fun, less freedom
