You'd have to be very impaired to mistake which way around the LF mast goes...
Drag is critical.
Here is 2016 mast profile which is almost symmetric to cause non negligible drag difference:

The old one is more obvious. Nit picking though...
You may be right. Of to YouTube wind tunnel Terry on symmetric profiles...

Not sure how symmetric the Zeeko alu foil mast is but a friend of mine assembled it backwards on his fuselage by mistake and only realized that after riding it as it was vibrating.

Putting a Zeeko on the fuselage the wrong way is hard to do since the mast fits into a formed shallow recess, the shape of the mast. I suppose its possible if you are paying 'not' attention. Also the Zeeko mast is much less symmetrical for aft than say an LF mast. But hey, I have done stupider things..

Definitely no recess for the mast on his Zeeko fuselage (the blue one).

There's a small recess (about a mm or 2) on the fuselage of my blue/white Zeeko, which would make it hard to mount the wrong way, or for that matter to do a canard experiment.

The first generation zeeko alloy doesn't have that.
