At $5k, these would have sold like Bacon.

At $12,500 they might sell a few to Richard Branson and the rest of us get to wait until someone finds a way to make this at a better price.

I would have thrown $5k at these guys faster than the ATM could spit it out.

For $12k I'd rather have a waverunner or new motorcycle. That's serious cash.

My guess is $5000 USD+
I called lift, i also thought 5k. Try $12,500.

I know we are an affluent demographic, but i cant see paying this much for that. Might as well get a jet boat. Too bad, i was super psyched for it.
Wow, my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with leather seating and low mileage cost me $15k... For that price you can buy new 6,8,10,12,14m kites and 2 foil boards and still have money in your pocket.

I guess wind is priceless :D

They can keep it @ $12k ! I think they may have taken JetPack and integrated it into the board.
Any DIY guys on this forum can do it cheaper ?

buy the jet pack and figure out how attach to a stock foil?
Maybe replace stab with enjine ride on front wing only plus jet as ur stab ? (Other thread is discussing monofoils)

Would it work if one to replace stabiliszer with jet-engine and ride on front wing only. Use jet engine as a stab ? (Other thread is discussing monofoils). If riding on a front wing only is easily possible, and the engine's thrust kind of return some of the stability lost by removing the stab.. (or does it? ) , then maybe a new generation of e-foils would be a monofoil with an engine replacing the stub?

Nice to see the start up. No tow up required, just pull the trigger and stand up once its stable.

One hour of fun ride time ain't bad either.

As ridiculous as the price:utility function is, 1 hour of use commands some respect, when we are so often hit with "amazing" "disruptive" new machines that only work for 5 or 10 minutes. At least they produce something you could actually use...
