I am feeling pretty incompetent right now. Trying to screw NSI Foothooks to a 2016 Slingshot Alien Air; can't seem to get the bolt tight enough, if I apply too much force, the bolt "strips" the hole.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Do you have screws sized correctly for slingshot boards? They are M6x23 self tapping. I just went through this myself.

I used two screws in each hook strap , front to back, with the RAISED BLACK TWO HOLE PLASTIC WASHER THINGIES that come with most foot straps.
