Many mass produced boards I've seen are made of a thin plastic-like laminate over foam & easily damaged. While they are light weight, I doubt they'd last a season's abuse, much less one harness hook impact.

Dwarf Craft sucks in water like a sponge. Mine cracked in 3 different places and weight over 11 lbs in the end. If you going to jump on your foil, don't use boards with foam core. They are nicer to ride, but all of them eventually need some repair - there are a lot of guys on our beach to attest to it. Now I have Cabrinha Double agent board and Shinn El Stubbo (with a plate). They are both un-destructible twintip construction. Shinn is coming up with a new board - Jackson - should be good as well.

What about something like Cabrinha Double Agent, or Shinn El Stubbo, Shiin Shinnster foil board ?
Those should be a lot more durable that traditional foil board.

That new Shinn foil board is really nice. Ticks all the boxes and I bet it's nearly indestructible. I'd get one of those if I didn't already have a board.
Wonder how their foil works.
My foilboard takes a beating handling in the parking lot, in the car and on the beach. It's always on its edge /rail or nose.

I have the Nobile Skim Foil board that I am really liking. Wood core, ABS rails, and full deck pad. Should be very hard to damage. Only negative is that it is a bit on the heavy side.

I second the Shinnster/ El Stubbo. I built a removable reinforcement plate for the version one shinnster to use with my spitfire. It's a much heavier combo than my spotz 2 and raceboard but it's as bullet proof as it gets.

I use the Zeeko pocket Air and it is solid as a rock and even fun riding with the TT fins.

I have the f-one foilboard (bamboo) and have busted or cracked the nose 3 times now. Apparently I must be hitting it with my calf or shin as I go over the front from cavitating at speed. If it breaks again I'm either lopping off the nose or going ghetto with a home carbon layup. If I can get a kfbox to 4 hole plate adapter I would be tempted to other options.
